2017년 5월 31일 수요일, LA한국문화원에서는 한국문화가 있는 날을 맞아 ‘한글이 꽃 핀 나무’ 행사가 개최되었습니다.
On May 31th, Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles held a special event “Full Blossom of Hangeul Tree”.
이번 프로그램은 LA한국문화원의 ‘소리글자 한글, 한글X디자인’ 전시와 함께 한글을 소개하기 위하여 준비되었습니다.
This event held to introduce how to write name in Korean as part of our special exhibition “Sound X Hangeul: Variation of Korean Alphabet”.
특별 전시 투어와 함께 최정윤 언어학 박사를 초청하여 한글에 대한 설명을 듣는 시간이 이어졌으며,
As a part of the program, Korean Cultural Center LA invited instructor jung Yun Choi PhD. She explained what is Hangeul (Korean Alphabet)
강의 후에는 자신의 이름을 어떻게 한글로 쓰는지를 배우고, 종이 잎사귀에 한글 이름을 적어보며 모두가 함께 한글 나무를 만들어보는 즐거운 시간을 보내었습니다.
and instructed how to write name in Korean. Students wrotes their name in Korean on the paper leaf, then put the name leaf on the Hangeul tree to make a beautiful full blossom Hangeul tree.
행사 후에는 한식을 맛보는 시간도 이어져, 한국 문화를 더욱 가까이 느낄 수 있는 시간이 되었습니다.
Korean traditional food was provided after event. It was a chance to enjoy of the korean culture.
